Filter interchange on Hot Spot Tempo

We have only had our tub for a week so far, bought it awhile ago but just finished install. What is the thought on Pleatco filters, I think our Tempo would take a PWK65, I want to have a extra to just change out quick.

Having a spare filter is a great idea. The Pleatco PWK65 is the same size as your OEM and will work perfectly fine

Now I notice they have a blue one anti microbial, is that worth it? or just go plain.

I don't think it is worth the difference at all. My Bullfrog Spas filters have the microban and I honestly don't think anyone can tell they make a difference.

I think the data on microban is way to limited to say it helps no matter what its impregnated into. The discussion is how it can exchange with the water when most of it isn't even touching the water. While it disinfects when it comes in contact with bacteria how can it get to the bacteria when the contact is so limited? Where's chem geek?
