I wet tested both models last year. Although I ultimately  picked a different tub, in this situation I would pick the Maxx us. We did not like the feel of the Jacuzzi. The Maxxus is a great, high quality, good looking tub.

We ultimately purchased a Artisan Isla Margarita Elite.

It'seems about the same size, 8' X 9' and Artesian makes a quality tub. It came down to the wet test and the Margarita Elite blew us away. Plus saved a little on price.
