Filter cycle question (Arctic)
« on: July 05, 2016, 04:10:19 am »
Hi all, I have a Arctic Spa Summit.  Question about what duration and frequency I should be running the filter cycle.  We don't use the spa as frequently during this time of year, so its probably seeing a total of about 2 - 3 'people hours' per week.....as in, my wife and I will soak in it for a quick 15 minutes a day on average.  I stay on top of the chemical balances, water is always very clean, spa is kept covered.  We also don't keep the temp too high, about 98.
I think the cycle is currently set at either 2 hours x 4 times per day, or 2 hours x 2 times per day....  Anyway, is it necessary to run it even that long for how much (little) its being used?  Wondering if I am wasting a lot of electricity...

Thanks!

I would never go less than 4 hours a day.

I filter mine four times a day, for one hour at a time, and it is always crystal clear. I use my spa daily as well. I would set yours to that as well.

Set it to FD1, and FF4.
