Setting up a timer
« on: May 01, 2016, 01:29:50 pm »
Hello, I'm new here so sorry if this has been covered.  Couldn't find the subject after a quick scan.  I've got an older Beachcomber tub with an Aqua Spa Pak, Evolution.  I've added an Intermatic mechanical timer to the circuit.  The question is: What is a good schedule for the timer? There's lots of conflicting times listed on the web (3hrs a day, 8hrs a day, on 2 off 2, on 3 off 3...).  I'm using Chlorine, no ozonator, the tub is outside and looking for summer setting on Vancouver Is.

Thanks for any advise!

Set it to filter as many hours as it needs to keep your water clean based on your use.
