Help! Installed new pump
«

I installed a new aquaflo yesterday and it doesn't work
All it does is make a clicking sound as if it's trying to kick on. i have taken pics of the wiring (which I'm pretty sure is correct) and a video of the clicking sound. Neither of which I know how to post. Any ideas what could cause this? My GFI is wired for 220 and the pumps is a 230volt. I do know the pump I replaced was a 115

Pretty sure if the original pump was 115v the new pump must be as well. The only thing a 110v/220v converted spa changes is the heater to a higher KW, everything else remains 115v.

What JJ said! Though, there are a very few spas/controllers where you can convert the voltage for the pump. Can't help much, if at all, without knowing exactly what you have.

If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Not very helpful info there, but unless you can maybe change a jumper on the board or a DP switch in the control box, that motor is going to need 220v to run.
