Hot Spot Rhythm Pricing
« on: December 13, 2015, 11:07:12 pm »
Hello, we need to replace our hot tub. We checked out the Hot Spot Rhythm and it seems like what we want.

The store quoted us a discount price for cash payment on the floor model: $6500 including home delivery, cover with lift, chemicals, and disposal of old hot tub. Is this a fair deal?

Thanks in advance.

That price is what they usually quote people, i got mine for $5700 OTD BRAND NEW TO MY SPECS, not floor model. Includes cover cradle 3 , steps , all chemical start up, including Aquafinesse 1 year supply (which is a great deal)  , delivery and hook up. Just go in to purchase it with a set price and cash to show, don't budge and let them work their magic. If they say they can't, tell them you are buying one this week with the dealer that gives you that price and give them your telephone number and walk out. You will be surprised at how things change when they see the cash in your hands..
Good luck!!
It is just luck that you may go there on their slowest month and you get lucky. If you go on a good month, they may not budge. They are kind of like car dealers, the slower the month, the better deal you will get. When you take cash to show, you will see them run around and make phone calls to make the sale, just be ready to walk if they don't show interest.

Prices vary all over the country.  $5700 out the door is an outlier deal. Typically these days we sell them for a range of $6500-$7000.

Your advice to go in and be a smart, firm negotiator is spot on. I think Dan is just trying to say not everyone is going to get the same final price you got ut everyone should at least make the attempt so they know they haven't left $$ on the table.
