Hot tub cleaner recommendations

Anyone have any experience with Oh-Yuk?
http://www.scientificbiofilmsolutions.com/healthy-hot-tub/

Their version for jetted tubs seems to get good reviews.

I know Ahhsome gets recommended here, but I am a bit concerned about gel getting left behind in the plumbing, especially in the colder winter temps (we are up north) ..

Any other decent products out there that will make a dent in biofilm during the drain and refill process?

Thanks!

Just pre-dissolve the gel in a bucket of water and the Ahh-Some should not get stuck in piping.  It's the best product to use.

Do you think pre-dissolving it changes its effectiveness at all?

I wouldn't think so. Even if you don't pre-dissolve it, it still gets dissolved when you add it to the hot tub water. Can't see how there would be any difference.

Specially if you dissolve it in a bucket of water you scooped from the tub. Drain your tub down as low as you dare. Then do it.
