Ok so i am in the middle of a cool project - I have a 2005 6 man Coast Lanai brand hot tub - i was told by the old owner that it JUST needs a lightbulb - i am going to check today and probe around with my volt meter to see if i am getting 12 volts on the output to the box and if fuse is still good.
I realized when turning on the switch i can hear a relay ? making a clicking sound BUT there is no bulb in it as of yet today and also wondering if no bulb connected would cause the color wheel to not turn mechanically ?
Is there a cool remedy to fix this IF i cannot get old color wheel to turn - can i still find the older fiber boxs for sale - i am very handy and this is my budget tub -is there another way to get those lights up and running? pictures to follow when done here in the next week.
