Filter number
« on: September 11, 2015, 03:48:07 pm »
We recently bought a 2015 Vita Joli and can't seem to get the correct replacement filter number anywhere. It has a 1 1/2" male pipe thread on one end and is about 5 3/4" dia, 6 1/4"" long not including the threaded end or the handle on top.
Any ideas?
thanks

Nope, and Vita will only provide their part #  not a filter #! They say go to the dealer. It's 100+ miles from here, we live in a rather rural area. Amazon or another online source is what we're looking for.

Call the dealer and ask them to ship it to you.

Measurements need to be within 1/16" to cross reference a different brand. "About", wont cut it. Also, the Vita part number would help.
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

I just got a chance to measure them accurately, sorry I haven't had a chance to get the Vita part number yet.
Dia 5 11/16"  X 6 1/8" long, just the length of the filter body not including the 1 1/2" fine thread stub or the crescent shaped handle on top. I haven't been able to cross reference to any other filter. I can't believe this is a proprietary filter exclusive to Vita.

thanks,
