Down to 2 Hot tubs
« on: September 09, 2015, 10:07:06 pm »
Im a Newbie here this is my first post. I have been cruising around the site for a while and have read a lot of helpful things, but even with that I still can't make up my mind. So after about 4 months of looking I'm down to 2 Tubs. The first is a brand new 2013 Jacuzzi J-470 with the J1000 controls that has been stored outside by the dealer but seams to still look in newer condition. The will give me the full warrantee for date of purchase which is the 5 years on components and 7 on the shell also has the stereo and Clearay technology for the price of $8500 with the cover, lifter and stairs. The second spa is a 2015 Caldera Niagra stored in doors with the cover, lifter and stairs for $9600 and that also has the same warrantee. I like the foot jets on the Jacuzzi and the composite construction and full foam insulation. The fact that is has been stored outside has me concerned. The Caldera is treated wood construction and the fiber core which I'm not to sure of. Any input and or advice would be greatly appreciated. I do live in a colder climate and will use year round. Thank you.

I bought a 2014 Jacuzzi J325 and it's outside in the new england area and love it. Before that I had a Hotsprings tub outside and it lasted 22 years so the Jacuzzi being outside should not be a concern. They are meant to go outside. Enjoy
