Newbie needs some help with a union fitting leak
« on: August 31, 2015, 06:51:35 pm »
I have a older tub that I have brought back to life.  I am having a problem with the union fitting coming out of the pump. I cannot get it to stop leaking it is only a trickle but it is driving me nuts. I have had it appart several times. New washers, check the sealing lips, checked the alignment. Nothing seems to work. I have to drain the tub each time I break the fitting.  ARRRRRR!  Has anyone got an idea?

Is replacing the union not an option?
