Build in Stereo vs Outside Systme
« on: August 30, 2015, 08:16:58 pm »
On the spas we are looking at, they all have a audio extra feature.  The feature runs around $700-$100 depending on unit and if they are just speakers/map you plug your phone/tablet into to bluetooth and wifi enabled.   That seems like a lot.  The spa is going on a smallish back yard that we are completely redoing with a lounge area, fire pit, barbeque, etc.

I'm thinking of skipping the built in speakers and just using that money for a better outside stereo that can work for all areas of the backyard.   Just wanted to know if anyone thinks the built in units are that much better that they are worth dedicating $800 bucks in addition for, or an outside system would be just fine.

Thanks
Chris

There's no way I'd spend even $100 for the low end components offered as built-in units.

Get a $150 i-dock type device and you'll have far better quality and portability.
