Large Spa Reccomendations and Pricing
« on: July 02, 2015, 09:38:41 pm »
I went to the San Diego County Fair to look at hot tubs and didn't find "the one"; though very tempted by several.
Came home and found this forum; what a wealth of information.
I am looking for a large spa for entertaining and relaxation. Before I go running around to dealers can anyone help be eliminate or add to this list:

Company   Model
D1,       Sarena Bay
Hot Springs,     Gleam
Sundance,   Maxxus 880
Caldera,    Cantabria
Artesian,    Bimini

Any suggestions on prices I should expect to pay for each?

Thanks in advance.

Everyone on your list is from a reputable manufacturer so you'll have to do the chopping from here. Visit all those dealers and get a feeling for how well you think you'll be treated, kick the tires, take a wet test on the top choice(s) and negotiate the best deal you can with whichever seems best to you.
220, 221, whatever it takes!

Last summer I was in the search for a large tub and decided  on the Caldera Cantabria.  Wet test tests are key and helped my wife figure out what she felt she wanted.  We liked the contoured seating of the caldera line over the hot springs models.  Let me know if you have any specific questions.  Can't comment on price as it varies too much from region to region and I'm in NJ.
