When do 2005 Sundance hot tub models come out?  Is it like cars which come out in the Fall?

Most manufacturers introduce their new designs at the NSPI show in December and they hit the showrooms after the first of the year.

Very different from the automotive industry. I had a dealer offering me his leftover 2004 models to make room for the 2005 a month ago! I though June was a bit early...

HotSpring made over 38 major changes this past year, so many of the new tubs were late getting onto showrooms. Then, there were some changes made mid-year on the Tiger River spas.

Hey Chas,

June is not too early.  Model change (at least for GM here in Oklahoma) is the first part of July.  My Mom worked there for 25 years and she always got a 2 week vacation for model changes.

A lot different than the hot tub industry!

Chas,
Is Hotspring making any changes next year?  Rumor has it they won't be at the NSPI show.

Chas,
You might be right on new models but the new brochures usually don't come out until June or July! ;D

Man I wish I could say you were wrong about that one! I go to the show, take digital pics of everything I can, print out home-made 'brochures' showing the changes, and insert them into last year's brochures. This is one area where HS could stand some improvement.

That's a great question. I haven't heard about the show - I'd be glad to check and get back to you about it - and I have a sneaking suspicion that there may not be many changes in the works for this year.

I would bet that Caldera will be shown - they are still looking to add dealers on that line.

It ain't just HS my friend! I probably work with more different brands then most people and it is one of my pet peeves with them all, they don’t get brochures out with the new product. Although I do remember the good old days when R. Neal would do a stand up comedy act if you asked when the HS brochures were coming out and you would be laughing so hard you forgot what you wanted in the first place!
