J-480 Price good?
« on: May 31, 2015, 12:27:24 am »
Hi all.  New to the forum.  Thanks for the great info.

Wondering what people are paying for the Jacuzzi J-480 with the BLUEWAVE™ Spa Stereo System.   Just put a deposit down on one that is red-tagged (blemish on back lip) for $13,000.   Should we have negotiated for better discount?   Sale price listed was was $14,500.

We went in looking at another spa, but I have feet problems and in the end decided the dedicated seat/lounger with direct jets on the feet was a requirement.   The jets in the dome (middle) just didn't do enough for my feet.

Thanks!

That's a fair price as long as cover, delivery and chemicals are included.

It's a good price with stereo.   I know you were worried about spa warranty?  Just an FYI and do not know if the dealer mentioned that a spa with a blemish does not carry the MNFG warranty on the shell of that spa?  Not a big deal as I am sure it will never be an issue, but thought you should know..

He told me that the red-tag tub would be under full warranty except for the 3x3 inch square part of the shell that was repaired (outside water).  Does that sound right, or is the entire shell warranty lost?

Honestly I think it's the whole shell warranty.   That being said I wouldn't be afraid or worry about it, shell failures just don't happen.   If you get the serial number I can look it up and see what Jacuzzi has it marked at.
