Trio Soft Soak
« on: May 13, 2015, 09:42:58 am »
When we get out of our spa we find our skin is dry, itchy & have to put some lotion on our backs & hands & sometimes my legs after getting out.
I'm using the frog/bromine system & an pretty good a keeping the bromine @ the recommended levels. Have a ozonator use shock weekly & spa perfect 24 hrs after shock along with water clarifier.

My Dealer recommended Trio Soft soak. Three part system where you first put in a packet after fill. Then a packet once a week instead of shock & clarifier & a packet to clean your spa 24 hrs before draining your spa.

Has anybody else used this product here? If not what do you use for soft skin? Seems kind of expensive at about 100 bucks for 3 month treatment. Yet if it works I'm sure its worth every penny. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Don't know specifically about that product, but a big reason for dry skin after hot tubbing is the hot water.  If your bromine levels are in the right range like you say they are, which is a reduced level due to the Spa Frog system, then my guess is that it's not the bromine.

I agree with Sam. Most people are bothered with dry skin more because of the hot water soak than any chemical reaction on the skin. Don't be easily convinced it's the bromine. Try it for 3 months and see if it works. But don't be disappointed if it doesn't.
