Artesian Spa 60amp circuit breaker question
« on: February 22, 2015, 08:46:06 pm »
I am downsizing my tub from an arctic 6 person tub to a artesian Santa Cruz tub. The old tub required a 50amp GFCI and circuit breaker. The new one requires a 60amp. It seems most tubs I've seen (even tubs with equal pumps (2 3HP) or more only require a 50amp service. Why does Artesian require more? It has 2 3hp pumps and a 5.5kw heater, and circulation pump. thanks

That's what confuses me, The Arctic Summit was a bigger tub with the same size heater, and I thought everything ran at the same time with it also, but it only needed a 50amp setup
