I recently received an Aruba model 1060 hot tub, man. in 2001. I replaced all the jets, the circulation pump and the main 2 speed pump. The topside control showed a FL2 indication which I replaced the pressure switch. Long story short is I think I've replaced just about everything. Not so sure about the gift thing anymore. My intention is to make the tub run the way it would have when it was new.
Here's the question; When the jets are running does the water draw down the floating weir/basket through the filter with a real noticeable movement and back out the jets? I'm not seeing any real movement of water and this has me thinking the water isn't being filtered properly.I have the filtration setting on F3. Hot tubs are new to me and I feel this is not right. Any input would be much appreciated. I can not seem to get a answer from the young sales people who don"t really know how these work.
