Which tub???
« on: July 04, 2004, 07:47:46 pm »
We are going to be a first time buyer soon...My question here is : Which hot tub, taking out the "wet testing" is at the top of the industry is longevity and customer satisfaction...which brand is built the best and lasts the longest....I live in the U.P. of Michigan....We are looking at Hot Springs, Sundance, Marquis, and Coleman. These are the dealers we have in close proximity.  I think they are all pretty decent, but, what are each ones pros and cons?
We are looking at the top of the line in each. Envoy (H.S.), Euphoria (Marq), Optima (Sun), and can't remember the Coleman number.
We are leaning towards the Sundance because of the dealer...be in business for a long time.
I know if I just research I could get the answers, but I don't have alot of time for that :'(
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated
Dave

All of the spas you are looking at are top quality...wet test to see what you like best...and the dealer is very important...if one dealer truly stands above the others in your eyes and the tubs are close....than that might help you decide....

Mendocino is right, all the tubs you are looking at are good buys, if the sundance dealer is the best in your mind, then find one thats comfortable and go for it you won't be disapointed.   :)

I agree with the others.  We looked at several of those tubs and ended up with the Optima after wet testing.  Truly happy with our decision  ~happy tubbing

Among your quality choices you can't really "take out" the wet test as that is really the only way to know which of the tubs will better suit your wants. The Envoy is the only one with a lounger of the models you listed - whether or not you want a lounger should help in your decision making.

Wet test, wet test, and wet test some more. That is the true barometer of the model that will best meet your needs. During this time you will also get to know the dealers and through that process discover which one you feel most comfortable with.

Plus, do you really want to rush this decision?  It took me a couple of months to figure out which tub and dealer I liked the best.  Some people here (or that I have read) have looked for years.

The point is, take your time, wet test a LOT, and really find the tub that suits you and your family!

Relax and enjoy!  Good luck!
