I've almost gotten the new tub installation completed. The support structure to hold the deck above the garage has been strengthened to hold another 10,000 pounds. The tub has been filled with water and there is a maximum of 1/8 inch of deflection in the garage ceiling, as it tightened up against the support structure. The Corvette (700 miles so far) is safe now - probably safer than before.
The electrical circuits, conduit, GFCI breakers, and assorted parts and system are almost done. The design was signed off by the PE, the permit pulled by the EE/electrician, and 80 percent of the installation is done. This has been fun for me, to see up close, the work that my electrical folks do.
The tub should be up and running by week end.
