LCD display
« on: June 26, 2004, 02:26:39 pm »
Good morning,  I went out to check the water chemistry today and thanks to everybodys help its all back to normal.  But I found a new problem.  My LCD display looks like its going out.  I can only read half of the screen.  Half I can read the other half is black.  All the buttons still work though.  I have only had the tub for 5 weeks.  I called the dealer and they said the control panel might be going out, they said they would call me back as soon as they find out.  Any thoughts?

You did the right thing by calling your dealer.  They should take care of it for you.

sounds like the liquid has leaked out of your display. I reckon your dealer should be able to sort you out.

This could be as simple as shutting the system down and restarting it. Have you tried this? This time of year with all of the lightning strikes it’s not uncommon on any spa control to have odd control issues. Go ahead and shut off the power, wait about 30 seconds and restart. If this does not work then call your dealer and get a service call. Either way let us know.

We haven't had any lightning.  No rain for months.  But I might try turning the power off and on again.
