topside control panel for Aber-Pacific hot tub
« on: June 11, 2014, 03:02:58 pm »
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement topside control panel for an Aber-Pacific Titanium series tub? If not, would a Balboa panel be interchangeable?

Thanks,
Doug

Is there any information on the control box?

It's a Balboa circuit board #54210. The top side panel is a 3 button: Set (temp), jets, & light. Unfortunately, the jets button no longer works.

If it's a standard phone cord type plug on the control box then any 3 button top side should work as long as the plug is the same. What makes you think it's the button and not the pump circuit or pump?

The pump comes on and runs it's 1 minute cycle if I shut the breaker off and restart it. However, I can't get the jets to work If I use the topside control. Only the light and temp control seem to operate from the topside.

Hey Tman;

  Thanks for your responses. Do you think it could be something other than the topside panel?  I live in a certified hicktown, and the 1 hot tub guy here has basically refused to come out, but has diagnosed this issue as the topside control by my description. I have found a panel, but I don't really want to purchase it and then find out it didn't fix anything.

Cheers,
Doug

It is the first thing I would try. However I have the option of plugging in a different topside and checking function.
