Jacuzzi J335 Pump rebuild
« on: May 27, 2014, 04:36:48 pm »
Has anyone rebuilt a 6500-343 pump's wet end? A new pump is about $400.00, the wet end kit is about $150.00. Our Spa place says they haven't and good luck with rebuilds. The current motor hums smoothy and the other question, is there a core trade in option that anyone knows of?

Why haven't they had good luck?  We rebuild them all the time

I think I will just put a new wet end on the pump. It looks pretty straight forward.

you say the current motor "hums".  Please explain ? ? ?

Is it the motor that is giving you trouble, or is it the wet end that is leaking?
