Putting to sleep for a few weeks
« on: February 26, 2014, 10:21:39 am »
I want to put the tub to sleep for a few weeks.
I was planning on dropping the temp down to about 10°C to offer some frost protection.
Leaving the power on but, turning off the 2 x 1 hour cleaning cycles, and either giving it a good concentration of chlorine for the duration, or using the floating dispenser with a good stock of tablets.
Any thoughts on:
1. How strong could i take the chlorine levels without causing any damage.
2. How long would a strong concentration expect to last, if no one was using it, no cleaning cycle was running, and the temperature was right down.

I'd prefer not to use the tablets, as I have no way of controlling this.
