My taxes are relatively low compared to some other area on Long Island..I have clients paying over 100000 ...it's a different world here

I live on a dirt road. Have my own well and septic. No sidewalks, no city services except that big grader that moves snow. I pay 2600 a year for that. If I had some kids in school it would seem like a better deal, but still not bad.

I pay $4569.79 a year in property taxes.   I am on well and septic, also.   I have a single once a week trash pickup.   A flush tax and rain tax have been added recently.     40 different taxes have either been raised or added during the administration of the current Governor.   I can't wait for him to move on to national politics.

Cops start at 105000 teachers start at 95000..it is a beautiful area..unfortunately if you want to live in a ny suburb with quality of life .,it's expensive
