Got the tub around the house and placed on the pad
It looks great! Artic makes a damn nice looking spa. As a DIYer I enjoyed the project. I need modify the conduit and wire it up. Will do this, most likely, next weekend, after the ice storm.

Congrats on getting it in place, having just went through it with my Jetsetter with only 2 people (well 3 but one was just a spotter), I know what trouble it can be, of course yours is much larger and weighs over twice as much.

-Thank you, Meriflower and Isaac. Yes, the wait is over. No more worrying about my driveway freezing again. The tub is safe an sound.
And, just to clarify, Artic has been tremendously good to me. I wouldn't expect them, or any other company / dealership to transport a tub 2,396 miles and then do the install. In this particular case, moving the spa through my yard doing the hookup was indeed,
my
responsibility.
And yes, Vortex, I could have contracted someone to do the local move and hookup for me, but preferred to do it myself, with the help of my good friends.

Rosewood your obviously a DIY guy and that's great...Not enough people are tho...Is Artic direct buy only with no dealers? Tub looks Great and your placement looks like it will be very nice on a nice quiet evening.

Thank you, Dune. To answer your question, Artic does have dealerships. But infortunately, not in my area. Because of this l purchased straight from their factory, in Alberta. They are a great folks to deal with.

We got this moved, just before the storm hit. Unfortunately the electric will be going in, next week.

Damn you, Dune. I've been shoveling snow for 3hrs and have no hot tub to fire up.
Yes, we love it here. Thank you for the kind words.

Looks really nice! Just make sure to take care of the wood, it will turn green pretty quick once Spring hits and the pollen starts flying.. But it does look really good... Oh and find another electrician, it's only Monday.

Thanks Jim and HTGuy. I like the look of wood, so l ordered the Western Cedar. It requires an annual oat of stain, but i really don't mind. I believe Artic Spas come stock, in cedar, with an upcharge for plastic skirting. Warerboy can better address this. I wanted the cedar, so i didn't inquire.

IMO the cedar is worth it. Once a year with a rag and some stain no biggy. Looks 100 times better than any plastic junk.
