Have you had your water tested yet to see what it needs to get properly in balance? And have you decided on sanitizer yet? If you don't have one already get a Taylor re-agent test kit. It will give you a lot more confidence in your waters balance than test strips.

I ordered an Artic Spa.   It is a 5 women, 1 man Klondiker Legend.

I've only seen one at a state fair. I hope you come back and tell us about it.

Thanks for the tip, Tman.
I'll pick up a Taylor test kit.

There are different kits depending on what sanitizer you choose.

Got my 92 x 92 Coleman tub removed yesterday!

A recently retired friend of mine will be fixing it up, so I am very happy that it found a new home.
What a bear!   It was made all the more difficult by all of the rain we had the past week, but the cold temperatures yesterday, made the ground a little more stable and we were able to get my friends 4x4 and trailer through my wooded side yard and up to the pad.
We used my hydraulic jack, some jackstands and 2x6 spacers to elevate the tub.  The trailer was then positioned under it and the rest is history.  I am very relieved to have the pad empty.  I was afraid we'd have a snow storm before it was removed, which would have prevented him from going though my yard.

Now the pad is ready for my Artic Klondiker!

WMC,  Will do!   I'll post some pictures of it after it is up and running.    My wife told me a few minutes ago that there is snow in the forecast this week, so I am very glad we got the Coleman out of here on Saturday.    I'd like to get my existing electrical ready and/or modified (I don't know what side of the tub it will come in) before the new tub arrives.   Maybe our resident Artic expert can give me some advice on this.  I'm thinking I can use a hole saw and come in the most convenient side...   At any rate I will be reviewing their on line manuals to see if there is any information regarding this.

I spent Monday cutting tree limbs, tying back branches and opening a path from my driveway to the hot tub pad.   Beautiful day.  I was wearing a light sweater.   Then came Tuesday.....    Snow everywhere and temperatures in the single digits.   I'm very thankful I got the old hot tub out of the yard on Saturday.
The bummer is, we have all of this snow and I don't have the Artic Klondiker yet.

On every Arctic Spa, the wiring can be brought in anywhere on any of the four sides. We typically just drill a small hole through the side of the floor, and then pull the conduit through the floor, and then once inside the cabinet, you can just pull the conduit over to the side where the spa pack is at to make the electrical connection. If you want to know the exact location of the equipment and where the connection is made, message me your email address and I will send you a PDF file location of where the equipment is located. If someone knows how to attach a PDF file here, let me know and I will post it here.

I dont know if it would be much help to you Roger as it is only for the new 2014 spas. It wont be accurate for older Arctic Spas....

Still like to see it. I like looking at those to help familiarize myself and to file in my parts/spec breakdowns.
