Top Winter Tip

Top Tip.

We are having guests over this afternoon, so what a good idea to jump in the tub.
It's about minus 3°C outside, and the tub needs a top up.
Guess where the hose pipe is.. ?
ouside, frozen solid.
With a few car cleaning mitts, and a number of old rags, and both ends capped off, the hosepipe has a jolly good cleaning and now defrosting nicely., inside the tub, so I can use it to top up. :-)

Two top winter tips in one, leave the hosepipe in the garage over winter.

Merry Christmas folks, thanks for all your advice over the last 6 months, and thanks for making me feel welcome to this community.

Good tip!
When my Coleman started to leak and needed to be topped off, I stored my hose in the basement.  I would just hook the hose up at my utility sink, unravel it, and top off the tub.   I had to be careful to have the opposite end at my Area Way drain when I detached the hose at the sink, but other than that, it worked great.
