My 4oz jar said add whole jar. I guess as my tub is 350 gallons it's about right.
At almost $10.00, i don't think i'll be buying any more.

I use a scented MPS similar to Zodiac Cense.  I like it, the one that I have used is nice, subtle and pleasant, but the odor only lasts a couple of days after the shock.

We only use ours at the weekend, and I usually shock it before use so scented MPS might work for me.
Never seen it in the UK though.
