Jacuzzi 345 vs. Hydropool 675

Hi...We live in Ontario, Canada and are currently looking for our first tub.  We have wet tested the Hydropool 675 and liked the feel of it but found the jets were not strong enough without using the diverters. Price tag was $12,000 + taxes.

I checked out the Jacuzzi and now considering the J-345.  Although I was surprised that the price is $11,000 + taxes.  I read a number of posts saying the cost of the tub is more like $8000 + taxes.

Anyone have a view on which one they would recommend and what price I should actually be paying.  I think both prices of the tubs seem high compared to what I have read.

if you were just in "kicking tires" most likely you weren't given his best price...

1. set a budget for what you can spend on a spa
2. find the spa that best suits you and your family (wet-test is definitely recommended)
3. once ready to buy sit down and negotiate to get the dealers best price, if its not to your liking move on to another option

We've been going through almost exactly the same scenario in the UK, although Jacuzzi 335IP vs the hydropool 675.

Pricing on hydropool way off here though, as lots of extras or add on which push it way above the jacuzzi. Hoping to get the jacuzzi for around £7k, but 675 even at an exhibition was at least £9.5k.

I think your comment on the jets makes up our mind though, as jets in 335 were great and all we need.

Just be glad of how much cheaper both brands are in Canada!

My husband and I are in the same situation.  We live in Guelph, ON and are split between the Hydropool 725 and Jacuzzi 470.  We are wet testing the Hydropool tonight and the Jacuzzi tomorrow 😃.  I'll post on Wednesday our results!!

People at Hydropool were fantastic but the Jacuzzi was hands down a better hot tub.  Just finished doing the paperwork and my J470 is being delivered in 4-6 wks 😃

Great to hear - Hydropools were nice, but 335 was plenty of tub for us.  It arrives on Thursday, can't wait.
