Just out of curiosity. How long do most of you soak in your hot tubs on an average?!?

20 minutes most nights at 10pm. That gives me 40 minutes of cool down time before bed. On nights when our daughter is in town, 40 minutes to an hour.   We tend to keep our tub on the warm side - 101 summer and 104 winter.

The wife and I soak one to two hours in the evening..... most evenings. On Saturday morning, we soak an additional hour while sipping on our coffee. We keep out tub around 95* so there's no health threat from being in high heat for a long period of time. 102* for 15 minutes, to me, isn't worth the price of a hot tub. JMHO.

We can quite happily sit in ours for 2 hours, 4 out of 7 evenings.
Temperature is usually around 37ºC (99ºF), which may drop a little in that time.
Any warmer and I'm having to get out and cool down for 5 minutes.

Buy a pool.  Anything below 98.6 is a warm tub.  :o

We have only had our spa for a little over a month so its still new and exciting.  But my husband and I try to use it every night for 20 min. On the weekend we can sit in it for a easy 3 hours at a time while we watch a Reds game on tv and soon it will be football. . Love it !

Bought a spa so I can have versatility. If I had a pool, all I would do in it is float around on a floatie thingie. A pool doesn't have comfortable body contour seats in it, plus, with the spa, I do have the option of turning the heat up if I want to. To each his/her own.

Some days my tub get used three times.  Morning after working out. After playing golf and then before we go to bed.  All soaks last 20-30 minutes.
