Hot tub not working in standard mode
« on: May 21, 2013, 06:40:00 am »
Hi friends,
Our five year old spa tub is now showing few troubles. It is not working in standard mode but only in economic mode. It kicks house breaker when we switch the mode to standard. Run forever in eco. What may be the reason for this? The spa cover got cracked last week when my kid plays on top of it. What all should I consider while buying a replacement cover? How the R-value and what mil affects its performance?

never mind
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Hi guys,

On the basis of some recommendations, i bought this spa tub from The Coverguy. Is it necessary to buy a hot tub cover and lifter as well? What all should consider while selecting the same?

Have you got your spa fixed yet? To me it sounds like your heater may be bad. In eco mode it only filters and does not heat. When you try regular mode it trys to heat and blows the breaker.

If you live in a cool or cold climate and you don't have a good cover, expect to roll up your money into tight balls and throw them at your electric company.
