How do you conclude its great? I agree with Bimmer that it "looks good" but looking good doesn't really mean that much on its own to me (i.e. my wife's Pontiac Fiero from 1988). We may have to disagree on what it takes to qualify as a "great" tub and since you don't own one I'm wondering how you have determined this.

I would say Costco buys them bulk for about 4 grand and sells them for 4999. So it looks like a 4999 tub to me. I am sure Strong makes enough at 4000 grand to keep the doors open as long as they adjust the manufacturing process.

I love your assumptions..I do own one just got it delivered last Friday to my summer house in the hamptons..and in my opinion Only my opinion it's a great tub..argue with me all you want ..unbelievable !

Of course you loved teh assumptions, you planned it to get them since you never stated that you'd just gotten this spa in opening of the thread coupled with the fact that you previously talked about a Cal spa that you recently purchased. I'm not sure what you find "unbelievable", you obviously knew that just posting the link without saying you'd bought it as a second spa would elicit a response that you could then say "aha, I do own one, gotcha..." so it was just as you had believed it would be rather than being "unbelievable".

In the end, congrats on your new spa, hopefully it will all work out well for you.

No..seriously I love the geo it's at my house..simple and easy to take care of ..my kids love it..the evolution has much more ..so much more can go wrong..but it's only going to be used on weekends so I hope it holds up..

Good luck with it.  By the looks of it it looks like a decent spa. Personally I couldn't or wouldn't spend 5k without at least being able to see it in person but that's just me.  Which one to you like better the geo or this one?  Hope you get many years of trouble free hot tubbing out of it!

I don't think either of those tubs would meet my expectations for comfort/quiet/hydrotherapy/longevity. But everyone has different expectations.

i actually like the evolution better..jets are more powerful and the lighting is very cool..both tubs cost me less than 8500 so my risk is minimal..the geo is just a great entry level ..perfect for kids and a quick soak after the gym or with my wife.(if im lucky)

I personally think it is great that brillskill owns both tubs.  They are very inexpensive tubs compared to some on the market.  At least now when someone comes on here asking about 1. buying one of these tubs  2. buying from Costco  they will get an answer from someone who has actually done it.  I do have to say brillskill is one person if he says his tub sucks or it's great I will believe him.  Some times not selling a certain product helps to have an open mind and try a product that your told is not good.  For me I could not buy either of these tubs because I have to be able to wet test a tub before I buy.  This is why it is great to have choices and I am very happy with my choice and brillskill is happy with his.

im just an impulse buyer and for me a hot tub is good for like 10 minutes for a quick hot soak..my neighbors have a grandee they sit in it for hours ..i hang with them and still can only sit in the grandee for like 15 mins..im a swimmer i can swim in my pool for hours..the moral is for me a wet test didnt matter...but if i was going to spend 10 grand or more on anything id check it out hands on..i will say it one more time ..if your budget is 5000 i would def recomend the evolution (while its on sale) sitting in it i can tell you youd think you were in a much more expensive tub
