need advice- new to spas

Most large manufacturers will carry a simple Single pump 6 person hot tub... Stick to a respected name brand... Artesian, Jacuzzi, Sundance, Hot Springs..... ETC... IMO.

Looks like the other opinion of that tub wasn't too favorable.  As far as Lazy Boy they are made by a Canadian company called Hydropool who has been around for a number of years.  While I think there tubs are decent I feel they are overpriced and there warranty is a bit lacking.  Depending on price range I would say to look at D-1, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi, Caldera on the higher price points and Nordic or Freeflow  on the lower price point.  I would by these brands befor I would by a Lazy Boy.  See if the dealer also carries Hydropool because these in my opinion are better then the Lazy Boy

That tub is not a hot spring similar to a free flow though.  Not sure if its the same as the freeflow as I haven't seen one firsthand yet but it is close. Should be able to get similar pricing on that from a dealer plus a dealer offers support for te tub if there is ever a problem with it

Btw..the aquaterra goes on sale may 1st for 2999 at costco

Nothing wrong with going the Costco route just remember they don't put the tub in place, supply you with start up chemicals, don't have a clue about hot tubs so they won't be very helpful with technical questions and you will rely on Costco for your warranty problems if they arise.  Buying a tub from a dealer and Costco is two different things.  A dealer will be much more helpful along the way.

I stated my opinion on the top of the thread.  You give the Geo Spa great reviews the other verified buyer gave it an awful review.  Just explaining the difference between buying from a dealer or buying from a online warehouse.  Hopefully you never have problems with your tub but if you do I think you will change your opinion of buying online

for me i really had no choice,,try dealing with my local hot tub dealers..and again it was 3 grand...worst case is i lose 3 grand,,ill live

The nice thing with those reviews is they're apparently verified as being from people who bought so I assume they are real but the one that is less than glowing needs to give some details while the one from the new owner really needs time for true evaluation.

Its like me buying a new car, I've liked EVERY new car I've ever owned. That's not so surprising, who doesn't like the car they just pulled the trigger on? My review of each one I've bought maybe 3 or 5 or 7 years later varies for each one, some I might redo and some have been great.
