Need Advice On New Hot Tub
« on: March 14, 2013, 11:36:31 am »
We are wanting to get our first hot tub and was looking at all of the used ones on Craigslist but upon thinking about it we are wanting to see if we can find a nice new hot tub for 5,000 dollars or under. This way we will have a warranty, delivery, won't have to buy a new lid, etc...

I wanted to get some feedback from you all to see if you think it's possible to find a new unit for a good dealer for 5,000 or less.

Any thoughts of where I should look first? We don't need anything super big or anything. Just my wife and I. Thanks!

My favorite small "couples" tub (even though it is rated for 3)  http://www.hotspring.com/shop-hot-tub-models/hotspot/sx#first  you can add a 24hr silent circ pump to that unit and you have a nice low maintenance spa, good insulation, nice cabinet, pearl color option, a couple nice seats with armrests and a moto-massage jet...check the reviews on that link as well, popular tub

around 5k (give or take a $500-$600 each way depending if you get it fully loaded with circ. pump, ozone, accessories, etc)

both good options as well, we picked up the Nordic line a few months ago and although their priced similar to most "basic" options they have a pretty nice product, their cabinets are much better looking than other similarly priced options and the whirlpool jet is a nice feature...relatively small company with good CS as well
