New Tub Advice
« on: November 29, 2012, 09:59:13 pm »
So I don't want to wait and get a new tub so two dealers in town have 3 different tubs.
I need some advice on which to pick.
They are all showroom models with water in them.
Here are my choices from first to last.
1. Sundance Optima
2. Jacuzzi 365
3. Sundance Majesta

Here is the breakdown.
The Optima is about 4 months old and was a Red Tag, it has a very small mark on it, no big deal at all. It has a radio package and these Terastone skirt, which looks nice from a distance but is very cheap and plastic feeling. But the tub color and the stone look real nice. The dealer is going to replace all the headrests and filters and has offered $11,500 for it right now inc delivery ect. I think I can get him down some more as a week ago he was at $12,500.
The other two models are at a different dealer and priced at $10,300 for the 365 which has a radio and $10,700 for the Majesta which has no radio.
I like the looks of the Majesta but want the radio and the 365 is a little bigger.
So what should I do??
Thanks

You will most likely own this thing for decades. Why not wait a short time to get exactly what you want/need?

Thanks for the reply.
The Optima is exactly what I'm wanting and the only thing this tub has that is a maybe is the Terastone upgrade. While it looks super nice I'm not 100% sure how it will hold up. But this tub with the stone and radio is I believe over $13,500 and I'm getting it for $11,500.
It seems to be a pretty good deal to me

my local guy in IL is quoting the Optima for $9000 with radio, sounds like he is giving me a good deal.
