Dimension One Spas sold?
« on: December 15, 2012, 11:09:08 am »
Two independent sources have now told me Dimension One Spas has been sold. To whom remains a slight mystery (there's a couple of suggestions). Anyone have more on this?
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

While I have independent confirmation on the sale, to whom is still only speculation....Guesses are it was to one of the "larger" remaining manufacturers.

My sources have narrowed down the possible buyers to, one.

Watkins (which owns Hotspring) is based in San Diego.  Dimension One... also in the San Diego area.  Hmm!

Well, technically they are north of SD - in Vista, CA to be exact. And they are neighbors - D1 is right next to (and about the same size as) the Employee parking lot for Watkins MFG.

Correct!  Google Maps shows D1 and Watkins to be 0.4 miles apart.
