Hi,
When adding weekly chlorine, should I open the hot tub cover fully, or is half open acceptable?
Enjoy my TX.
Thanks, Marina

It depends how much you are adding.
If you are adding a weekly shock dose of chlorine then the cover should be let open for 20 mins with the jets on. That way the waste is oxydised into the air.
If you are using chlorine as a sanitizer then you should be adding it in smaller doses every couple of days and i don't leave the cover open then.

Open it fully...Half open will cause damage to the half that's facing the water

If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.
