Does it make any difference in outgassing when adding chemicals if the bubbles are left on or off?
I use the 10min clean cycle after each use and add my chemicals then. I have been leaving the bubbles off, but perhaps the surface agitation with the bubbles on would be better?

when you break surface tension and introduce air through your jets you can naturally raise pH...I know people often times are under the impression you need to run your jets for 15 minutes or more when adding chemical, but its just not needed, esp. if you have 24hr. circulation

It might be a good idea for me then, since we don't often use the air when we use the tub, and I add bicarb weekly due to low alkalinity and PH.
