Leak on neck Jet control
« on: January 23, 2012, 11:16:13 am »
Ok, techs, you can help me.  On my Dynasty, I have a minor problem.  There is a control to operate the neck jets.  When pump #2 is on I get high pressure water shooting out from the control.  When I first got my tub back in 2003 the same thing happened with the waterfall control and I was told it was the o-ring in this control was pinched.   I assume after 7 years this one is not pinched but just failed.  Are they hard to remove and replace?  Since the only time any pressure is on this control is when pump #2 is on I can easily turn power off, replace and test.  Anything I need to know?

yup the diverter itself, the gasket, or combination of things needs to be replaced...if you could post a picture of the diverter in question it would make it much easier to point you in the right direction
