Sundance or Hot Springs
«

Hi everyone!
As my ID says, I am dazed and confused about spas! I am 34 and my wife is 33. Are we too young for a spa?
We saw some in a home show and fell in love. We we tested a Hot Springs Sovereign and Sundance Optma and Cameo.
The Soveriegn was a little too small. I am 6'1" and my wife is 5'5".
We are looking for a tun that easily fit 5 to 6 people if we have a party. We would like to stay with Sundance or Hot Springs.
Any suggestions?
What is the Sundance equivalent to the Hot Spring Soverign? Is it the Optima?
What is the Hot Spring Equivalent of the Sundance Cameo and Optima?
Thank you.

The Sundance Altamar would be a close comparison to a Sovereign.
The Hot Spring Vista close comparison to the Cameo
The Hot Spring Grandee close comparison to an Optima.
You're not too youg for a hot tub.
Wet test them all. Don't get bogged down with the horsepower of pumps or number of jets. Feel the jets for yourself by wet testing. Both companies mentioned are good companies to do business with, but remeber you are doing business with the local retailer so make sure you are comfortable with them too.
Remember; " The world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for your, might not be right for some........It takes different strokes to move the world." Mr. Drummond

Thanks. What were the new Hot Springs models that were just released in the last month or two. Weren't there 2 or 3? What are the diff's between the new releases?
Concerning the spa bottom. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the bottom Hot Springs just foam? Is there an abs or some sort of stronger bottom to resist moister and insects?
What sort of bottom are on Sundances?

I do in the keys but not in Orlando.
Unfortunately both spa companies you mentioned are built in Cali. so the freight prices are higher to Fla. than to the midwest.
I have an Optima now but I used to have a Grandee. i loved them both. Try them both out, see what you like, I loved my Grandee when I had it, But with the Newer Fluidix jets in the Optima I enjoy the jets more. But don't buy based on my opinion, and this will be the last time I will tell you, promise, Wet test.

I tried both of them (Grandee and Optima) last week, and suggest that a wet test is in order.
I found the bucket seats of the Sundance, a bit different than the bench seats of the Grandee.
Both have pulsing massage, and it is a matter of perferance for the Moto Motion versus the Sundance alternative. I had no problem with the Moto Motion.
Try each seat too. Sundance was a little skimpy on the non-corner seats.
