Where to Start
« on: May 21, 2004, 12:57:36 am »
We are looking at purchasing a spa.  We have never owned one and all of this is very new to us.  We have a Hot Springs dealer, a Coleman and a Catalina dealer in our area.  We have looked at the Hot Springs, they also carry Tiger River.  The Prices just seem to be so high.  All are over $5,000.00 with any real number of jets and seating capacity.  We looked online at Adventure Spa's. does anyone know anything about those?  We appreciate this web site and have learned quite a bit already.  Thanks for the help. ???

Hi...

Take your time and wet test and find the tub that best suits your needs....the number of jets you will find if you read some of the posts here....matter less than you might think....find a good local dealer who will be there both before and after the sale...if you care to share what part of the country you are in...I am sure someone here might have a local dealer that they could recommend...as for Adventure spas...go to http://www.rhtubs.com/spa-forum.htm there were some folks posting today about their recent dealings with them.....good luck.....

:)Thanks for the info.  We live in Northern Arizona approx 1 1/2 hours drive from Phoenix.  We will check out the website you shared and see whats up.

ElBombero,

As you are only 1 1/2 hours from Phoenix, there is no excuse for not checking out all the major brands.  You've got to do it.  After all, you live out west where folks drive much further at high speeds all the time.  I have been in Phoenix and Denver and Albuquerque and observed large numbers of folks who drive extremely fast.

It should only take you an hour to drive the 1 1/2 hour distance.    ;D
