i have a 550 beachcomber hot tub year 2002 when the weather gets real cold the tub runs hot tell it over heats when the weather is not to cold it seems to be fine off one or two degrees can you help thanks aul

There are 2 sources that add heat to the water, the heater of course, and the pump. If you are running your pump(s) long term, especially on high, they could be the source of additional heat that is not thermostatically controlled.
