The white colors reflect the light at night best however shows the most dirt, Â A Tub with a rough textured surface does not show scratches, smooth surfaces will show scratches, Â the darker colors wear well, your choice. Â
I have a sandy taupe colored Hot Tub.
Re LED Lighting: Â With dark color tubs it is better to use a 22 - 24 light LED which is much brighter and shows the colors better in dark color tubs. Â Many factory offerings have as little as 7 lights which work fine in a white or light colored tub.
I added the LED lighting from an after market source.
The cost of the aftermarket LED was 50% less than what the dealer offered. Â $99.00 usd
Installation  is an easy plug and play exercise with most Tubs as long as it uses a 12 volt system without a dimmer.
While not essential I highly recommend this feature as it really adds ambience to the Hot tub at night. Â Really Cool.
