I've been experimenting and during the last summer month I had at 98. My spa keeps it within 2 degrees. So most of the time 98 was good. Now that weather is getting colder, I bumped up to 100 last night. It hovered around 100 - 101. That seemed hot and curious to see what others like.

As stated above, it depends on the outside temperature. In Summer, 98 seems great. As the outside temperature drops and your exposed skin looses heat more repidly, temperatures of 100 and above seem more comfortable.

my husband and I used to fight over the water temperature in the spa. He wanted it at 102, but I really couldn't enjoy the temperature above 101. I know that sounds crazy, but after you have your tub for a while, you become much more sensitive to the temperature and believe it or not, you can feel that one degree. Even in the very cold weather, I can't tolerate above 101 for very long (like 3 minutes)! lol...You will find your comfort zone...

It wasn't a voting option but its 101�. I can handle up or down 1� but I'll notice and 2� either way is not ok.

The answer varies for us.

If you take an average, we would probably say 102. However, it depends on the weather and how long we intend to stay in the tub. This Sunday I'll be running my first full marathon. (My Facebook friends can get hourly updates on my status

) I suspect for Sunday and Monday the tub will definitely be 104. Thats the highest I can go, but I can trick it to going to 105 for a short duration. In the coldest part of the winter it stays at 104. If we are having company, or plan on spending more than 20 minutes in it we turn it down to 102. For most of the hottest time of the year we turn it down to 101. Even in the hottest time of the year, it usually cools out to 80 or less at night, so we will enjoy the 101. If we have a family event during the summer we may turn it down to 98 and leave the cover open.

As you see it is personal preference, so the poll probably won't really help you set your temperature..I can't imagine the temperatures that Bill loves, and I bet he wouldn't feel good soaking at 101 in the winter..so it has to be what makes you feel good, not what everyone else is doing.

I happen to like it at 101-103,and the wifey likes it 98 or lower. As I do alot of physical work during the day,(tile/stone mason) the higher temps seem to help my aching muscles moreso,than colder temps.

As others have mentioned,it's a personal preference,and I would use the tub at whatever temp pleases ya physically,and mentally

Thanks everyone for their opinions. Yes I have only owned for about 2 months now and I can say it is crazy but you can definitely notice the 1 degree change. I had on 102 the other day and it was too hot I had to end the soak. Now at around 100 it is fine. I will have to experiment when the temps get colder outside.

I like 104 in the winter. I just jumpered mine (thanks Chas for a previous post) so I can go to 108. Can't wait to crank it up to 108 in a snowy Central NY Blizzard!!!!
