Well after searching for about 4 months I now have my first tub on my deck. The electrician will be here in the morning and the dealer is coming back when it is filled and giving me the full tour. I will try and post pics tomorrow

Congratulations !! Just out of curiosity, did the dealer do a site inspection, at time of delivery? Did you build the deck, have it built or was it there when you purchased the home ? It is important to have some idea of the load capacity of your deck, BEFORE you fill the tub with water. I recently purchased a hot tub. I knew that my deck was built with footings, joists and beams, that were capable of supporting the weight. When I crawled under the deck to do the wiring, I was shocked to see that the contractor who had built the deck, neglected to use bolts to secure the beams to the posts. They were nailed. It only took me about an hour to drill holes and install bolts, in the tub area. The rest of the deck is now a project for next summer. The weight of the tub could have easily pulled the nails, over time.

Thanks. The dealer came by to do a site inspection before I purchased the tub. I built the deck knowing I was putting a hot tub on it. My deck is at ground level, even so I added extra support under it,and I put the joist 1 foot apart, also it is bolted screwed and nailed.

You have to post them elsewhere (such as PhotoBucket, or FaceBook etc.) and then include a link to that photo.
