Check out Nordic Hot Tubs, they have a few 5-6 person spas in that price range.  I sell Nordic and would be happy to answer any questions for you.

Check out Viking Hot Tubs.  Their Supreme model sels in that price range.  Made in Michigan.  Not too far away, if you're a Buckeye.

Excellent suggestions.. unfortunately I do not find either of those brands in my current area (North Carolina 27613).

Any other thoughts?

Thank you

If you really need a spa to hold 6 people and are truly limited to a $4k budget I think you have three options, 1) look at a good used spa, 2) buy some cheaply made, poorly insulated e-Bay type spa (obviously not) or 3) set that $4k aside and add $100 a month (about what it would cost you to run a poorly insulated spas monthly if you got one) until you have the funds you need.

I'm glad you brought that up, That is an option that some people should look at this price range.  When I bought my tub, there was no dealer in town, but nearby a lot of rental vacation properties have this type of tub.

Well, The only option I know of would be the HotSpot Dash. It is a six person 110v spa that you can see here http://www.hotspothottubs.com/dash. Brand new with warranty you might be able to get one around $4,300 - $4,500 depending on where you are.  :)

Just noticed you put your zip code. You might check here:

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

It IS as bad as you think and they ARE out to get you.

it is pretty tough to find a great spa in that range.  You might check out the South Pacific roto molded spas, you might check out Storg Spas, to name a few in that range of price, I am still a bigger fan of saving money and getting into a D1, Sundance, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi , Marquis , to name a few high end brands, but the alternative the South Pacific have been a great spa we sell , we have very few service calls on these....
