I would love to give that a try. I have to train them somehow: they usually just end up getting rude when I push them into the spa filled with cold water by the door.

Follow through. close the cover :-)

OK, true story.. some years ago a new company publishing an alternate yellow pages phone book came into town. They offered me a GREAT rate on an ad. I "bit" and the ad did in fact look avbsolutely beautiful. One slight problem, they printed the wrong phone number. Now, I wasn't really worried about it since no one had ever heard of this phone book, much less had an actual copy of it in their home. I figured, no big, I'm not going to have to pay for the ad and they'll get it right next year. "not going to have to pay for the ad" my a$$. They offered me a 30% discount on the ad. WTF?????? They actually wound up turning it over to collections. The collections guy actually appologized for calling me and assured they would never call again and it wouldn't effect my credit rating.........

Fast forward to today :-)... SO a week ago I get a phone call. "Hi, I'm your new yellow pages rep and I'm calling about your renewals in upcomming phone books (we're in about 9 different phone books)"...  I ask him which books we're in, and what the current ads read (I've been scaling down the ads the last few years as the internet has brought infiantly more business than the yellow pages). He lists each of the 9 phone books and reads off the ad. "Sounds good to me" I tell him, "lets just rerun them for this year"...... He wants to come in and talk about it..."Fine"

2 days later, one of the girls in the front office say my "phone book appointment" is here. "send him back".... "Hi, you must be my new SBC yellow pages rep?"........... "No, I"m with Vally yellow pages"...

"hmmmmmmmmm" says I.... "your phone call the other day said you were my "new" rep and want to discuss "renewal"......... You outright lied.

If I had a spa I would have pushed him in. after making sure it was filled to the top, and the cover had extra tie downs and locks.

Talk about being rude.......... I think that was the first time I was every truely rude to a salesman............ and rude is a gross understatement............

Oh, and he didn't bring cookies.  :'(
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.
