Two year old LaPalma (hotspot) heater pump
« on: May 30, 2011, 01:19:19 am »

Hello All,

I purchased a brand new LaPalma Hot springs ( Hotspot ) La Palma two years ago and today,
for the third time, the heater pump has gone out.  The Dealer has been great about coming out
and repairing the heater pump and each time tells me that " These things hardly ever go out."
" I just can't understand it."  Each time this happens, the dealer has to order the pump and wait
two or three weeks for it to arrive and then schedule a time to come out.  I have at least four weeks
of down time, not to mention I need to empty the tub, etc.  This heater is not the 24 hour heater
that runs continuously, but comes on at low speed when the temperature drops below a certain point.
I'm wondering if I just got a bad Hot Tub and I'm at a lost.  This new heater didn't last six months.
Thank you, Carl
