Bad thermostat?
« on: May 01, 2011, 04:56:31 am »
I own a 2005 Sundance Majesta.  A few days ago I noticed that although the temperature is showing 102, the water is much colder....probably in the low 80s or high 70s.  I reset the circuit breaker, and turned the heat up to 104.  The heater icon on the control panel turned on and there seemed to be warmer water entering the tub. The next morning when I checked the water....it was showing 103, but it was still much colder than that.  If this is a defective thermostat, is this something I can replace myself, or should I call the dealer?  Thanks for your help.

It certainly sounds like your temp sensor is starting to, not tell the truth, it needs to be changed out.   Simple job if you've done it before.  I wouldn't suggest you getting into it without the dealer helping you out.
